Welcome to episode 70 where we explore how detachment plays a big part in being able to feel and express genuine empathy to others.
In this episode, we take a look at how allowing ourselves to grieve and let go of desired outcomes, we can then detach and allow others to have their own experience. Without detachment, it can often be difficult to express true understanding, since our own thoughts and feelings are mixed up in it.
Key Elements:
There are two ways to be.
One is at war with reality
and the other is
at peace.
- Byron Katie

Welcome to episode 69 where we dive into the concept of how to give empathy for ourselves, how powerful it is in creating lasting change, and the foundation of being able to express empathy to others. Genuinely.
In this episode, we look into the idea of how combining empathy for self and adding in some self-compassion, how we can help ourselves heal old wounds, find grace while still taking responsibility for our lives, and why this can be hard sometimes to open up to.

Welcome to episode 67 where we look at how anxiety can actually keep us from feeling difficult things we don't want to explore.
In this episode, we look at how being "up in our head" can be a way of avoidance…of feeling feelings, expressing feelings, and doing necessary grief work. Using experiential exercises to get you started with awareness, Mary helps you begin to focus on how emotionally connected with you are with yourself.
