Day 2 was a tough one! Yesterday I felt much better and felt like I performed well. Today was a slightly different story, since it was so freaking hot outside. But I did what I had to do and got it done! Even though I was dripping sweat and my face stayed red for what seemed like forever, I feel great, actually. There's something about running and pushing yourself hard that makes it rewarding in the end. Like with any journey, this one will be filled with lots of ups and downs, and I'm ready for it. I've ran various races, including lots shorter races up to half marathons, but I've never ran a full marathon.
