Your two besties are back talking ghosties with zero patience for nonsense and a lot of questions the evidence refuses to answer.
This week we cover Spain’s only police-documented haunting, the Vallecas Ouija case: a teenage girl, a board that wasn’t properly closed, a sudden death, and an apartment where police reported unexplained voices, movement, and a presence that said, “I am not your daughter.”
Then we head to Dyatlov Pass: nine expert hikers, a tent cut from the inside, barefoot tracks into deadly cold, brutal injuries, radiation, and a conclusion that still doesn’t explain anything.
We close with a listener story from Ontario involving footsteps, mimicry, and hearing your own voice when you’re not home.

This week on Para(normal), Marie and Nicolina spiral in the best way possible, starting with chaotic horoscopes and ending with two deeply unsettling paranormal cases.
First, we dive into Entity Seven: a viral TikTok phenomenon from 2023 made up of fragmented videos, distorted audio, and one recurring number. Viewers reported glitches, dread, corrupted uploads, and a strange feeling that once you noticed it… it noticed you back. Was it an ARG, mass psychological contagion, or something darker?
Then we head to England for the terrifying true case of The Black Monk of Pontefract; a violent poltergeist haunting at 30 East Drive that multiple families, police officers, and witnesses claimed was real. Unlike most hauntings, this one didn’t follow people. It stayed with the house.
Also in this episode: real-time jump scares, tech malfunctions, and the growing suspicion that this recording maybe… wasn’t alone.
Sleep well. And if you start seeing sevens everywhere, don’t count.

This week on Para(normal), we start light, New Year’s resolutions, doomscrolling, library cards, and eerily accurate horoscopes before the episode takes a dark turn.
Marie tells the terrifying true story of Doris Bither, a single mother in 1970s California whose life unraveled when an invisible force began physically attacking her. Investigators later realized this wasn’t a haunted house, it was something attached to Doris, following her wherever she went.
After the break, we shift to one of the most haunting unsolved cases in modern history: the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. We walk through what investigators believe happened, where the case went wrong, and why, nearly two decades later, it still refuses to rest.
This episode explores a chilling idea that connects both stories: sometimes the danger isn’t the place… and sometimes it never lets go.
Content warning: This episode contains discussion of sexual assault and violence.

This episode of Para(normal) quickly spirals into two of our creepiest stories yet.
First: the true story that inspired Jeepers Creepers. On Easter Sunday, 1990, a couple driving near Coldwater, Michigan witnesses a man dumping a blood-stained bundle behind an abandoned schoolhouse, then gets chased down back roads by the same white van. We break down the real Dennis DePue case, its Unsolved Mysteries connection, and why the truth is more disturbing than the movie.
Then: the infamous Sally House in Atchison, Kansas. A young couple moves into what looks like a normal home only to experience violent scratches (often in sets of three), moving toys, EVPs, and a presence that may be pretending to be a child. Psychics, investigators, and even the Warrens weigh in on what might actually be haunting the house.

We’re back after two weeks off with: chaotic banter, horoscopes, hard boundaries, and a collective refusal to maintain the status quo. After checking in with the stars (Leo rejects productivity culture, Gemini confronts buried emotions and moral limits), the episode dives into two chilling stories:
In 1945, elderly farm worker Charles Walton was found murdered in a field in Lower Quinton, England; his body pinned to the ground with farm tools, nearly decapitated. The killing happened near the ancient Rollright Stones, a site long associated with witchcraft and curses. The village refused to cooperate, witnesses fell silent, and even Scotland Yard admitted the case felt… different. The murder leaves behind whispers of ritual, fear, and folklore that still cling to the land.
We then explore the real-life woman who inspired the TV series Medium. Alison DuBois claimed she could communicate with the dead — and repeatedly provided details in police investigations that allegedly led to recovered remains, cleared suspects, and insights into active serial crimes. Her most disturbing involvement surrounded Phoenix’s Baseline Killer, where her warnings about the killer’s psychology and escalation eerily matched what would later unfold.

After two weeks off with family, we’re back. This episode was recorded in November under the Scorpio New Moon, which (respectfully) came to collect.
In this episode we dive into two dark stories:
A Canadian nightmare hiding in plain sight: a massive psychiatric institution with decades of overcrowding, cruelty, and tragedy, including the 1910 fire where women were trapped behind locked doors. We explore the historic horrors, the whispered local lore, and the chilling reports that followed: shadow figures, smoke smells, sobbing voices, beds indenting on their own, and sightings of burned “patients” wandering corridors long after the flames went out.
Not that Zodiac; the lesser-known killer who terrorized New York with a crosshair symbol, letters, and a supposed cosmic “plan” tied to Zodiac signs. We track the shootings through the early 1990s, the strange timing patterns, the task force that formed to catch him and how the case was finally cracked through an unexpected domestic incident that revealed a very real man behind the mythology.
Listener warning: institutional abuse, fire-related deaths, violence, and graphic crime details.
Stay spooky. We love you. Bye. 🖤

Welcome back to Para(normal). First up on this week’s episode is the true story of Nellie Bly — the 23-year-old journalist who asked Joseph Pulitzer to send her somewhere dangerous… and ended up going undercover inside the Blackwell’s Island Insane Asylum. We walk through what she witnessed: brutal conditions, forced ice-cold baths, starvation-level food, and the chilling realization that many women inside weren’t “insane” at all. Her exposé, Ten Days in a Madhouse, didn’t just shock readers, it helped force public scrutiny and reform, and leaves behind one haunting question: what kind of treatment creates madness instead of curing it?
Then we pivot to a modern haunting that feels like it crawled out of a nightmare: The Screaming House of Union, Missouri. A single father rents a duplex at 809 N. Christina Avenue, and what starts as small disturbances turns into a house that breathes, stinks, marks walls, and screams, with reports of shadow figures, claw marks, EVPs, and a presence that may have followed the family after they fled.

On this episode of Para(normal), Nicolina begins with the story of “This House Murdered Me” – the story of April Miller and her family, who move into a Victorian home in Salt Lake City’s Avenues district. A too-cheap house, a boy’s “imaginary friend” named Benjamin, and a family tragedy that refuses to stay buried.
Then Marie dives into the true horror of MKUltra, the CIA’s real-life mind control program. From the 1950s onward, unwitting subjects were dosed with LSD, locked in sensory deprivation, hypnotized, and subjected to brutal “treatments” in the name of national security.
The episode closes with a chaotic round of F/M/K because after haunted houses and government mind control, why not?
If you like your paranormal with a side of dark history, conspiracy receipts, and unfiltered banter, this one’s for you.

Marie kicks things off with a chilling paranormal case: Julie Weinstein’s Ontario farmhouse, where peaceful country living quickly turned into a nightmare of footsteps in empty rooms, disembodied whispers, bleeding walls, freezing temperatures, and a hostile shadow figure that targeted her child. The haunting eventually ties back to the land’s dark history and a former slave runner whose violence seems embedded in the foundation.
Nicolina follows with the true-crime story of Issei Sagawa, the “Kobe Cannibal,” who murdered and cannibalized Dutch student Renee Hartevelt in Paris in 1981. They break down his early fantasies, the crime itself, and the shocking legal loopholes that let him walk free and become a bizarre public figure—raising questions about justice, media ethics, and whose names get remembered.

This week, Marie and Nicolina take you on a wild ride: one part ancient mystery, one part full-blown haunting. First, Nicolina digs into Mohenjo-daro, the 4,500-year-old Indus Valley city so advanced it had private wells, sewage systems, standardized homes, and a perfectly engineered public bath — yet left behind no readable writing and no clear reason for its sudden disappearance.
Then Marie unpacks the San Pedro haunting, one of the most disturbing and documented paranormal cases ever recorded. Single mom Jackie Hernandez faces violent activity, including floating heads, bloodlike liquid dripping from cabinets, and a cameraman nearly being hanged by an invisible force in her attic. The case ties to a mysterious 1930s drowning — or something even darker.
