Party Favorz — Dance Music Podcast

House music mix — Beach House 2022 — collects the season’s most played, club-ready cuts for a summer set that moves between Disco-House, Deep House, and jackin’ grooves. This annual Beach House edition surveys early 2022’s biggest house moments and the tracks that kept the dancefloor moving even as mainstream headlines tried to rewrite the genre’s history.

Expect current hits and defining remixes including LF System’s “Afraid To Feel,” Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul” as heard in the Dirty Disco Mainroom remix, plus UK-led influence from Ewan McVicar. The mix also digs into established and renewed floor-fillers from Claptone, Basement Jaxx, and Sonny Fodera, sequencing heavier house openers into sun-soaked disco and deeper late-set stretches. Notes in the mix call out how modern credits sometimes nod to 90s remix traditions rather than direct lineage, but the selection focuses on what actually works on the dancefloor this summer.

This Peak Hour mix delivers 2022’s Tech House and Techno energy in a summer-ready, late-night set built to sustain dancefloor momentum. Hot In Here blends peak-time thump with inventive reworks across roughly 2 hours and 48 minutes, making it a practical companion for DJs and listeners chasing peak-hour heat.

Highlights land where groove meets grit: John Summit’s In Chicago supplies textured, techno-leaning drive, while Ben Kim’s Tear The Club Up brings a propulsive bassline made for the center of the room. Classic songs receive contemporary treatments too — KREAM’s take on Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill and Mark Knight & Gene Farris’s I Can’t Go For That trade nostalgia for modern club polish. Emotional detours like Shouse (Felix Jaehn Remix) and crowd-pleasing openers from CID & Westend keep the flow varied without losing intensity.

The set mixes originals, edits, remixes and bootlegs from an eclectic roster, balancing relentless energy with a few melodic peaks to carry you through a long summer night.
