Circuit, house, and Hi-NRG come together in Pride Dance Classics Vol. 4, the 2022 entry in the Ultimate Gay Anthems & Pride Classics series curated for Gen X and early Millennials gearing up for Pride. This volume leans into a big-room circuit sound and assembles club-ready remixes and beloved gay anthems to recall the golden era of gay club culture.

Consider this set an honorary extension of the Diva Hall of Fame, spotlighting women who helped soundtrack our nights. Highlights include Suzanne Palmer opening the mix, classic treatments of Donna Summer and Kristine W, Hex Hector-era club power via Deborah Cox, plus nods to Jeanie Tracy and Andra Day in Barry Harris’s club-facing rework. The selection favors veteran remixers and Pride-ready reworks while keeping the energy firmly on the dancefloor.

Clocking roughly five hours across forty-five tracks, Vol. 4 wraps most of the big-room circuit and Hi-NRG picks; one more Pride Dance Classics set will finish the classic-side run before the Gay Anthems For A New Generation releases.

Circuit and house-focused Gay Pride Anthems — Ultimate Gay Anthems & Pride Classics Vol. 1 (2022) kicks off Party Favorz’s early Pride season with a four-hour club mix that updates the original 2014 Gay Pride Classics sets. The release surveys 90s-through-mid-2000s anthems and modern remix updates chosen for flow, while a separate “For A New Generation” set will follow with newer staples. Contributors like Hex Hector and Barry Harris help reframe classic vocalists for contemporary play, and Tracy Young’s late‑2021 remix of K.D. Lang’s “Constant Craving” is called out as a notable correction to earlier editions.

Expect reworked mainstays from Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, Cher, Kylie, Candi Staton, and Sylvester delivered in circuit‑ and Hi‑NRG‑friendly mixes. The compilation leans on legendary remix talent — Junior Vasquez, Ralphi Rosario, 7th Heaven and Almighty among them — to preserve the diva-driven spirit while tightening sequencing for the dancefloor. At just over four hours, this set reads like a refreshed history of Pride anthems for both longtime listeners and newer crowds.
