Party Favorz — Dance Music Podcast

This episode is a 90s House Music Classics mix — House Music Classics of the 90s Volume 8 from 2017 — assembled as a short history lesson in club sound. The set foregrounds influential remixes and vocal-driven floor cuts that helped shape modern dance music and keeps the focus on tracks that endured on club charts and playlists.

Highlights include Brothers In Rhythm’s Such A Good Feeling (DMC Remix by Dimitri), Urban Soul’s Show Me (Def Club Mix), and Me'Shell Ndegeocello’s rework of Who Is He And What Is He To You (DT’s N.Y.D.C. Mix). Vocal moments from Jaki Graham’s Ain’t Nobody (Love To Infinity Classic Paradise Mix) and Deskee’s Dance Dance (Tony Humphries Mix) trace the sample-based and soulful strands of the decade, while Blondie’s Atomic (Diddy’s 12" Mix) offers a crossover nod to pop/club fusion.

At about 1:30, this volume serves as a tidy closing statement to the series, useful for longtime ravers and newcomers curious about 90s house lineage.

EDM/House tribute, Diva Hall of Fame — 2017 — revisits Madonna’s Erotica/SEX era with contemporary club remixes and a handful of remastered originals. This mix was assembled as a dancefloor-facing salute to one of pop’s most provocative chapters, translating the record’s darker textures back into peak-time mixes for DJs and focused listeners alike.

Highlights include fresh treatments by Sartori, Division 4, Deeptrak, Lukesavant, and Dave Audé alongside a classic Deep Dish nod. Standout reworks push Vogue, Justify My Love, Deeper and Deeper, Ray of Light, and Erotica into modern house, trance, and club territory without losing the original’s confrontational edge.

Curated by a longtime fan, the set balances nostalgia with utility: remixes designed to slot into contemporary DJ sets and remastered originals that still hold up. It’s a respectful, dance-oriented reflection on how Madonna’s late‑80s and early‑90s provocations helped bring underground club sensibilities into the mainstream.

House music, Diva Hall of Fame, 2017 — this reissue revisits Party Favorz’s original 2009 Annie Lennox induction with fresh remasters and careful re‑EQing. The set was brightened and de‑hissed to sit better in modern club contexts while preserving peak structure, and it leans on a mix of authorized club treatments and inventive bootlegs to present a cohesive portrait of Lennox’s solo and Eurythmics-era work. The compiler notes a few fan-favorite official remixes were omitted in favor of flow and consistency.

Highlights include a Shanghai Surprise take on Pavement Cracks, the GriDo bootleg of 17 Again, and an emotive IceColdBoyz version of No More I Love You's, alongside club staples such as Steve Angello’s Sweet Dreams and Peter Rauhofer’s A Thousand Beautiful Things. Tony Moran’s Into The West 2005 and David Morales-style house energy thread through the sequence, giving the mix both classic and contemporary dancefloor appeal. Enjoy a respectful re‑induction of Annie Lennox into the Diva Hall of Fame.
