Party Favorz — Dance Music Podcast

A 2016 Funky House mix, We Love To Boogie! is the second installment in Party Favorz’s party-ready run of disco-tinged house sets, built to carry a weekend dance floor from warm-up to peak and back down again. The mix moves through Deep House, Urban and Tech House with soulful flourishes, beginning cool and steadily ramping until it burns off into a higher-energy peak about two-thirds in. Highlights include Laolu’s remix edit of Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Orchestra to open, a Luca Guerrieri rework of Federico Scavo & Barbara Tucker, and club-ready turns from Keanu Silva and Mat.Joe. Don Diablo’s VIP of “I’ll House You” and Seamus Haji’s touch on Indian Princess add crossover flavor, while the set closes with a playful Mot & Krid remix of The Beatles’ “Taxman,” an unexpected retro-modern flourish that caps the mix on a tongue-in-cheek note. Total time: 01:19:51.

Funky House mix Boogie Nights (2016) kicks off a two-part start to the year with a tightly curated set of disco-inflected house, nu‑disco and deep grooves meant to keep you dancing. This Part 1 set threads classic disco reworks and contemporary funky house into a seamless hour-plus mix that’s built for the floor and casual listening alike.

Standout moments include Sanny X’s Disco 54 rework of Tina Charles’ “Dance Little Lady Dance,” which peels back the original and rebuilds it on a Nile Rogers–style groove. Purple Disco Machine’s vocal spin on Boris Dlugosch, Late Nite Tuff Guy’s remix of DJ Le Roi feat. Roland Clark, and Throttle’s take on Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September” add rich, familiar textures while Riton feat. Kah-lo and Boston Bun feat. Mayer Hawthorne inject contemporary club energy.

Tracks from Prok & Fitch, Illusionize and Miami Dub Machine keep the momentum moving across funky, deep and disco-house textures. Press play, then rinse and repeat — Part 2 follows shortly.

This is a Club Fusion EDM/Deep House New Year’s mix — Blow Your Own Horn 2k16 — built as a party-ready, one-take DJ set intended to carry a NYE crowd through the countdown. The 2015 set pulls big vocal hits and peak-time remixes into a two hour forty minute mix designed to play loud and keep dancefloors moving.

Expect tested club versions and bold reworks rather than radio edits: highlights include Sam Feldt’s take on Avicii’s “Waiting for Love,” Sick Individuals’ remix of Madonna’s “Bitch I’m Madonna,” Tiësto & Moti’s rework of “Lean On,” Afrojack’s turn on “Hey Mama,” KSHMR’s remix of Avicii’s “For a Better Day,” and Michael Brun’s club-ready spin on David Guetta’s “What I Did For Love.” The set was mixed live with only minimal edits afterward, so what you hear is raw, immediate, and sequenced for party energy.

If you need a single continuous NYE mix that blends mainstream vocal moments with festival-ready EDM and deep-house texture, this edition was assembled for that purpose. Play it loud and enjoy the night.

This episode is the final volume of the Top Dance Songs of 2015 series, focusing on house and deep-house highlights from the year alongside a few crossover moments. It’s a year-end roundup that reflects on 2015’s tendencies—less about breaking new ground and more about solid remixes and club-ready reinterpretations for DJs and playlists.

The mix collects standout remixes and producers who kept dance floors moving, with nods to Chic feat. Nile Rodgers (Peter Brown Club Mix), Ed Sheeran (Seamus Haji Remix), Calvin Harris & Disciples, Diplo & Sleepy Tom, and Gorgon City feat. Jennifer Hudson (Freemasons Club Mix). The episode also acknowledges the cultural tidal wave of Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk,” a pop throwback that defied expectations and lingered in dance sets throughout the year.

If your favorites aren’t here, they may have shown up across the five volumes or will turn up in the forthcoming New Year’s Dance Party mix “Blow Your Own Horn.” Until then, enjoy this house-forward closing chapter of 2015’s top dance selections.
