Party Favorz — Dance Music Podcast

This is a Latin House installment of The Diva Series from 2016 honoring Gloria Estefan with a full-length Diva Hall of Fame induction and club-ready remixes. Party Favorz frames her crossover catalogue for the dancefloor, moving from salsa-inflected classics to peak-hour vocal house while highlighting why songs like Conga and Rhythm Is Gonna Get You endure.

The mix leans on prominent remixers who translated her hits for clubs, including Pablo Flores, Tony Moran, Rosabel, Hex Hector, Thunderpuss, and Ralphi Rosario. Expect Latin House reworks of Mi Tierra and Turn the Beat Around, big-room reconstructions of Out of Nowhere and Heaven’s What I Feel, plus singalong moments from Conga and You'll Be Mine (Party Time).

Running about 90 minutes, the set balances respect for Estefan’s pop‑salsa roots with versions DJs still cue up for the floor. It’s an induction that emphasizes both her chart history and the remix culture that keeps those songs alive in clubs.

This is the Spring Break 2016 edition of Club Fusion, an EDM mix built to take you from sun-up house grooves into a full festival assault and back down into deeper house territory. Clocking in at roughly 93 minutes, it surveys electro, progressive, and deep-house remixes that were shaping the season while hinting at the scene’s gradual shift away from a one-sound market.

The set opens with high-energy club stomps like R3hab & Quintino’s Freak and folds in a rolling Inpetto remix of Galantis before moving through crossover pop remixes — Zara Larsson & MNEK, DNCE — and a Tiësto-extended vocal treatment of the Dillon Francis & Kygo collaboration. An Illenium rework of The Chainsmokers provides a bass-forward moment that contrasts nicely with the groove-led closers.

The mix favors tight transitions and selective remix choices, highlighting producers who were pushing festival energy and underground texture in 2016. It’s a practical, dancefloor-minded snapshot of that spring’s most playable edits.
