Party Favorz — Dance Music Podcast

This episode is a 00s house mix from the Millennial Dance Classics series assembled in 2014 to spotlight both obvious hits and deeper club favorites from the early 2000s. It’s designed to celebrate the era’s remix culture and the way producers blended disco, pop, and underground house to keep dance floors moving.

Highlights include Deep Dish’s Miami Calling take on Stevie Nicks’ “Dreams,” Modjo’s Extended Mix of “Lady (Hear Me Tonight),” and the Freemasons/Full Intention rework of “Love On My Mind” with Amanda Wilson. You’ll also hear Seamus Haji’s remix of Moby’s “I Love To Move In Here,” Joey Negro’s club-minded “Make A Move On Me,” plus a Joey Negro mix of Thelma Houston that reconnects the set to disco roots.

The selection favors tracks that mattered in clubs as much as on charts, pairing familiar anthems with deeper cuts and remixes that illustrate the stylistic breadth of early‑00s house. Turn it up and revisit that era’s fertile remix-driven soundscape.

This chill-out mixtape session — Mixtape Sessions, Autumn 2014 — is built for relaxation and late-summer escape. The set eases through deep house, indie and nu-disco textures across a steady 1:38 runtime, starting with Synapson’s slow-moving “Djon Maya Mai” to set a mellow, atmospheric tone. The mix favors mood and continuity over peak-time urgency, ideal for afternoons, long drives, or winding down.

Highlights include a muted Claude VonStroke rework of London Grammar’s “Strong,” the elegant Julio Bashmore cut featuring J Danna, and Jessie Ware’s tender Two Inch Punch remix of “If You’re Never Gonna Move.” Newcomer Superhand’s expansive “Crystal Pianos” provides a cinematic late-set moment, and the mix closes on a brighter disco-tinged note with The Knocks featuring Powers on “Classic.” These selections keep the flow contemplative yet melodic, with subtle remixes and indie-dance turns that reward repeat listens.

This episode is Funky House and Deep House — Summer XO 2014 Volume 1 — a two-set, late-summer sendoff built around moody, after-dark grooves. It’s designed as a darker, introspective contrast to bright disco revivals, the kind of mix for night drives and low-light rooms rather than daytime roller rinks.

Highlights thread through pop-to-club pivots and deep reworks: The Ting Tings’ “Wrong Club” (The Super Criticals Club Mix) sets a surprisingly bleak tone, while Mart & Casey’s take on Blondie’s “Heart of Glass” leans into that moody deep-house vibe. Expect club-ready remixes from Cutmore (Sia’s “Chandelier”), Lane 8 (Eric Prydz’s “Liberate”), and MK (Lana Del Rey’s “West Coast”), with Purple Disco Machine and Gene Farris adding warm, textured funk amid the darker selections.

Total time: 01:49:43. Part 2 follows tomorrow for anyone wanting to sink further into the set.

House — Millennial House Music Classics Vol. 1 (2014) maps the first decade of the 2000s when classic, disco-tinged house splintered into fresh subgenres. This first volume is a DJ-friendly survey designed for nostalgia and discovery, collecting club mixes and remixes that defined early millennial house culture.

Andrea Love’s “Shined On Me” (Bini & Martini Re‑Vocal Mix), Clubland’s “Let’s Get Busy” (Sami Dee’s Classic House Remix), and Full Intention’s take on Barbara Tucker’s “Stop Playing With My Mind.” The set also features Armand Van Helden’s “I Want Your Soul,” Moloko’s “Sing It Back” (Boris Musical Mix), and David Guetta feat. Estelle’s extended “One Love,” demonstrating how producers balanced vocal hooks with peak-time rhythms.

Running just under two hours, the compilation traces how veterans like Eric Kupper and remix teams such as Seamus Haji and ATFC shared space with newer millennial voices, offering a concise picture of house from 2000–2009 for fans and curious newcomers alike.

Circuit and house mix — Summer Edition 2K14 part 2 — built for hot workouts and late-night dance floors. This 2014 Summer Ed. ramps up tribal energy with extended club mixes and re-edits designed to keep momentum across more than an hour. Expect sweaty, peak-hour transitions and a few playful warnings for listeners in public.

Highlights include an ultra-hot Carlos Gallardo remix of Conchita Wurst’s Rise Like A Phoenix, noted as an unofficial contest submission that still carries a few DJ drops. The set also leans on a StoneBridge mixdown of DJ Mark One & Lizzie Curious’s Bring The Joy and Joe Gauthreaux’s summer-ready take on Blondie’s Call Me. Other peak moments arrive via the Tom Stephan vs. Dave Aude re-edit of Beyoncé’s Partition, Ranny’s Club Mix of Duke Dumont’s I Got U, and a Gustavo Scorpio private mix of RuPaul’s Sissy That Walk.

This selection favors remixes and peak-floor dynamics over radio edits, making it a tight, dance-focused playlist for summer training or club sets.
