In this episode, we are talking about Programming Training Splits. We are building off Episode 4, diving into the nuance of organizing exercises within a microcycle.

In this episode, we are talking about Programming Frequency of Training. This is a huge step in building our program. It forces us to organize how to distribute exercises and subsequently volume and intensity throughout the week.

In this episode, we are going to be diving into evaluation for programming. One central question we will ask is, if the testing does not impact your programming decisions, why test?
We need to find out two things: what exercises can we do and how do associate variables with them? Considerations for baseline testing are group size, how long we have to train each day and over how long of a period, and pre and post-testing or integrating into training-based testing.

Our first episode of Season 5 is all about Goal Setting. This season we will dive into advanced program design for elite athletes. This whole season will be a deep dive into programming for unique situations, not for general programming tips. Episode 1 will dive into how to bifurcate your goal setting based on larger groups and smaller groups. We will talk about setting up expectations and objectives for training. Once we know the assignment, it is our mission to execute it.
