Piggybacking off of Episode 2, Corissa dives a little deeper into the mind. With ~60,000 thoughts each day & 95% of them being subconscious thoughts from the past, she introduces the Ego and Inner Child parts of our minds. Our Ego and Inner Child shape the personalities we create as children & stories we tell ourselves over and over to survive in life. Corissa gets vulnerable & shares the stories she's told herself since she was a young girl.
Unmet needs from Corissa’s Inner child causes her Ego to attach to thoughts like, “I’m not good enough.” “I’m not pretty enough.” “If they don’t see me... If they don’t hear me... I won’t be loved.” “I need to win.” “I need to achieve.” “I must be the best.” “I need to be funny.” “I have to be pretty.” “If I don’t have and be all of these things, I am not good enough. I won’t be loved.” ALL STORIES. ALL UNTRUE. ALL SUBCONSCIOUS.
Learning this creates power.
When we can practice and learn to separate ourselves from our subconscious mind and Ego, we can begin to feel & fully step into our power, our freedom & discover TRUE self-confidence.
