This week the castaway on Desert Island Discs is the pianist, Phyllis Sellick.
Phyllis Sellick enjoyed a glittering career as a solo performer but was just as well known as one half of a duo, with her husband Cyril Smith. Then he suffered a stroke and lost the use of his left arm, but by adapting the music they continued to perform together successfully in Britain and abroad.
