Episode 101 sees all of us together again for a short but fun podcast. No interviews or guests this time - but we have some great topics for you to listen to. We discuss managing modeling stress and anxiety, and of course we go over the incredible response to our Posse 100 Group Build. We also discuss a recent visit that Scott and JB made to Panzer Fabrik in Delta, Colorado, just south of Grand Junction.

We also make some audio changes to the podcast to hopefully make it more enjoyable to listen to. Scott has removed some of the processing and produced what is hopefully a more natural sounding podcast for all of you!

Episode 100 sees all of us together to celebrate a milestone for the Plastic Posse. We feature a terrific interview with Peter Davis from Scale ACT, "The friendliest Model Show in Australia" - who talks about modeling, modeling shows, and how he and his team go about putting on a show that gets bigger and better each year!

We also have two friends join us for this Podcast, Rick Lawler and Jim Bates. We churn through some good natured feedback generated from Episode 99, and JB announces a very special Tamiya 1/48 armor group build that we are launching the day this episode drops!!!!! Listen in for details because you are going to want to participate in this one!

Thanks to all of you for the first 100 episodes - and here is to hopefully many, many more!

Welcome to a Special Episode of the Plastic Posse Podcast. There is a new International Modeling Organization that has launched called Modellers Without Borders. Many people have been asking questions about this new Organization and we host three good friends who are also key members of MWB in a Q and A session to get you some of those answers, specifically:

Tim Holland, AKA "El Presidente" from the ModelGeeks Podcast, and part of the Southern Maryland Scale Modelers club that hosts the Paxcon Model Show every other year. Tim is the President of Modellers Without Borders.

Rob Booth is a former IPMS USA Member of the Year (2018), a member of the 2023 IPMS NATS San Marcos team, and also a former member of the IPMS USA E-board (Secretary). Rob is also a longstanding member of the San Antonio Alamo Squadron and also a founding member of the Texas Hill Country Scale Modelers. Rob is the Executive Secretary of Modellers Without Borders.

Stan Spooner is an award winning modeler with scores of Publishing credits for his work. He is currently based in Texas, where Stan was a member of the 2023 IPMS NATS San Marcos team. Stan also owns and operates "The Model Box," a hobby based business and social media outlet for his work and the work of others. Stan is the VP for Industry Liaison for Modellers Without Borders.

Before you listen - a proviso - there will be distinctions drawn between MWB and IPMS USA, (as well as other organizations). Values, perceived challenges, and approaches to the hobby will be openly discussed, so be aware of this.

If you are curious about or interested in this ORG, you will enjoy this interview. If you aren't interested in a different approach than the traditional IPMS USA one, you may want to give this one a pass. You have been cautioned!

Episode 99 sees all of us except Doug back together again. We feature a terrific interview with Frank Perrone, who talks about modeling, and how modeling has helped him through some tough times!

We also discuss some recent feedback from Jesse Hosmer, who recently asked the Posse why he seemed to be plateauing and not improving as much as he would like.

TJ and Jensen also spur an impromptu good natured tongue in cheek discussion on whether aircraft or armor modeling is "harder."

We also have some great listener feedback, talk about recent models that stand out on our Posse group on Facebook, and of course upcoming shows and events!

All of us minus Jensen (missed you buddy) are together and we catch up on JB's trip to Ireland and England, and Scott, Grant, and Doug talk about the Inaugural Rocky Mountain Expo show held June 22 in Salt Lake City.

We also discuss pushing back on the notion that modelers need to "put in their time" or "earn their stripes" in order to have models recognized or published. We feel pretty strongly about this!

We also have some great listener feedback, talk about recent models that stand out on our Posse group on Facebook, and of course upcoming shows and events!

The Posse is (almost) all here! We missed Doug but have special guest Eric Kervina to sit in with us, and also to talk about giving feedback to not just modelers, but to judges as well after recently judging at AMPS Nationals.

We also have our friend Gary Baker return to talk about the Recent MFCA show and his Southern California figure painting group.

We discuss what consistently trips each of us on projects, and ways we can try to work around these familiar roadblocks.

We also have some great listener feedback, talk about recent models that stand out on our Posse group on Facebook, and of course upcoming shows and events!
