Jensen leads the Posse for a catch up with everyone sans TJ. We catch up and talk techniques, give each other a hard time, discuss upcoming model shows, and what each of us has been up to.

We discuss where our respective SMC builds are at with less than 100 days until the show. We also discuss a question - does limiting your finish to only one or a couple of techniques impact the quality of your work? If you only use a paint brush, only use acrylics, only use an airbrush, etc... - does it affect the overall quality of your model?

We also discuss our new Group Build for the AK M1008 Chevy Trucks sponsored by AK Interactive and Micro-World Games.

Scott, TJ, and Grant fly a shortened route today as Jensen and JB are engaged elsewhere.

We interview Stewart Rolfe, AKA Black Hat Scale Models and what an engaging conversation. Stewart talks to his motivations, his emphasis on traditional scratch building, and our mutual support for the Annual Model Officers' Mess 48 in 48 Event benefitting Model For Heroes.

We also catch up with our Favorite Uncle, tearing him away from his latest project at the bench, and talk about his new Facade kit produced in conjunction with Faustus for RT Diorama. Martin gets into a lot of detail regarding the design and manufacturing of this new product, and hints that this might not be the only kit to be released...?

We also discuss what Inspires us to initiate a project, to dive into something and pick that dusty model out of the stash and get going on it, and TJ leads us into a pep talk / discussion on overcoming fear and sharing our work with our peers, even at the best model shows in the world, and why this is a great idea!

Grant leads our full crew in a really fun show that has almost all of us eager to meet up at AMPS Nationals next week! (Sorry Grant)

We have discussions on when is it OK to pull the plug on a show build, and if using shows as a motivating factor is healthy or not. We also dive into our own mortality as modelers, and ask the question, "What three builds are your “Pharaoh builds?” The Pharaohs of Egypt were famous for being buried with their earthly possessions and symbols of their accomplishments - so which three builds have you done that you would want archaeologists to find in 10,000 years buried with you?

We also welcome back our friend Ilya Yut from Israel, and talk about his recent trip to Moson Show, and also catch up with him on new builds and his recent celebration of his 100th published model feature!!

Join the Triple P as all 5 hosts talk scale modeling.

We have a JUMBO episode for you this time out that features a new product highlight with Christian from Bases By Bill, get summaries from not one but two model shows that JB and TJ attended last weekend in Pittsburgh and Toronto, and we also have a very special conversation with John Spud Murphy and Peter Usher from the 4 Corners Modeling Club. We do a deep dive in Pete's amazing dioramas and also discuss many other topics about the hobby.

We also have another go the ongoing debate over whether modeling is talent based to any degree - or whether anyone can do it at the highest levels with the right amount of dedication and practice.

All 5 of us this time around!

We feature a conversation with Cliff Herring on everything from using Mission Models paint to Model Contests and anything else that comes up! It was great to have Cliff back in the Posse.

We also have a fairly introspective and slightly spicy duo of topics led by TJ - discussing "Secret" Builds and what motivates the decision to share or not to share your builds online versus at shows. We also talk about being in the zone, and what that is like for each of us.

Don't forget the Model Officers Global 48 in 48 Group Build event next weekend - March 14/15/16!!! More details over at https://48-48.org/

Grant, Scott, and Jensen this time out.

We feature a pair of conversations - first with Malcolm and James talking about the 2025 version of the 48/48 Global grouip build for Models 4 Heroes. Then Grant and Scott talk with Joan Biediger about her work and perspectives on art, model shows, and the hobby.

We double down on talking about Model Shows - are they too expensive or more expensive now, and how do Shows provide value to consumers? We also talk about other hobbies, and how those hobbies influence Scale Modeling.
