Nadine Machiskinic was an Indigenous woman found dead at the bottom of a laundry chute in a Regina, Saskatchewan hotel in January 2015. Her death was ultimately ruled accidental, however a review by Saskatchewan RCMP determined that the investigation into her sudden death did not meet professional policing standards in Canada.
