Brittny is joined by Brie Taylor to discuss the impacts of breathwork and its power in healing. Brie is an integrative behavioral coach combining her background as a behavior therapist, trauma-informed psychosomatic (mind + body) practitioner, and breathwork facilitator to help people across the globe connect with a simple yet powerful practice for radical self-healing + self-discovery. After spending over a decade with chronic illness, she explored a variety of holistic practices which helped her uncover the root cause of her physical illnesses such as PCOS, endometriosis, constant migraines, blood transfusions, and food intolerances.
Brittny and Brie discuss:
- How she discovered breathwork and the quick impacts it had on her
- Integrative breathwork, breath control, and manipulating your breath to calm the nervous system
- Success of approximation and why it’s important to start small
- How to get into a regular practice of breathwork
- The challenges that can arise while on a healing journey
- How she learned to accept failure and why it’s actually been beneficial in her growth
- What a purpose driven life means to her
Brie became a breathwork instructor because of the impact it had on her own life and her passion for teaching humans how to use their breath to reduce anxiety, stress, grief & anger, create safety in the body, deepen their self-trust, and explore different states of consciousness. As a breathwork instructor, she truly understands the power of blending subconscious healing and breathwork as a tool for deep inner-reflection, anxiety relief, meditation, healing, self-innovation, and a way to create true liberation.
