Lydia Hatton is a therapist with an MBA. Her experiences in high pressure and challenging situations led to her study the power of the mind. She now seeks to help and inspire others how to reach beyond their perceived limits.
Lydia's career has spanned corporate roles in media at NBC in New York and Continental Cablevision in Boston, to working in start-ups on the East Coast and in Michigan. Lydia holds an undergraduate degree from Columbia University in New York, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. www.lydiahatton.com
In this episode, Lydia discusses the physiology of the brain as the largest super computer on the planet, between our ears. We can access more of its power and potential when we work with our subconscious. The subconscious harbors patterns, complexes and other ingrained behaviors that dictate most of our responses to life. When we access subconscious content, transformation occurs that frees us from life long limiting patterns.
The current scientific understanding is that 5% of our minds are actively conscious, and that 95% of our minds are run by subconscious programming which starts even before birth.
Lydia explains hypnosis and Rapid Transformational Therapy and why they work. When in hypnosis you are in complete control. Hypnosis is like a sleep of the nervous system, yet you are very aware of all that is occurring. Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is a new model of therapy which uses Neuroscience, Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
RTT is used to address and resolve issues within one to three sessions by identifying the root cause of beliefs which may be informing the mind to behave, act, or believe things in a manner that we do not want.
