With only a few hours looming until the CNN Presidential Debate, citizens need to prepare just as much as the candidates. We need to ask deep questions that require more than soundbites from those at the debate stage. Above all, view the questions through the lens of civic pluralism that allows us to disagree and remain resilient beyond the election cycle. It’s up to each of us to do our debate preparation to reinforce a sturdy democracy.
