Jarrah's mining adventure unfolds during his time on the Emergency Response Team in the Northern Territory. The episode kicks off with a heart-pounding emergency call—an overturned truck on the highway, 150km away from any major emergency services like the police or fire brigade. The team rushes to the scene, arriving to find a double-decker trailer overturned in the middle of the highway, filled with cattle.

As they begin their scene survey, the unexpected occurs—the back window of their Land Cruiser spontaneously explodes. Meanwhile, the trailer's doors partially open, allowing some cattle to escape while leaving others trapped. The team springs into action, cutting steel and using ropes to free the stranded cattle. Amidst the chaos, they encounter scenes of live cows trapped beneath dead ones, presenting a gut-wrenching dilemma.

With no easy solution in sight, they make the tough call to use their Makita Reciprocating Saw to disassemble the deceased cattle in a desperate bid to save the living ones. Just when it seems like they're facing an insurmountable challenge, an old country cowboy arrives on the scene. With unwavering resolve, he effortlessly puts down the suffering cattle, tipping his hat, and departing as mysteriously as he arrived.

Once all the cattle are liberated, there's still the matter of the overturned trailer, posing a danger to oncoming traffic. In a stroke of luck, a road train carrying an 80-tonne excavator appears out of nowhere. The truckie unloads the excavator, flips the trailer back onto its wheels, and moves it safely off the road. With the mission accomplished, he returns to his road train and heads off to a mine site.
