In this mind-bending episode of Proper True Yarn, Knuckles welcomes the comedic genius Andrew Hamilton to share some of the most outrageous and entertaining stories from his life. Known for his unique blend of humor and candor, Andrew doesn't disappoint as he dives into tales that range from philosophical drug-induced epiphanies to the unexpected business ventures that followed.Starting with a hilarious and vividly recounted mushroom trip on a beach at sunrise, Andrew captures the essence of those late-night conversations when everything seems profound, and life’s mysteries feel just within reach. He describes the surreal experience of watching a sunrise in a state of awe, only to have it interrupted by the less-than-pleasant return of his mates, Carl and the gang, who had a rather different encounter with Mother Nature. Their tale of a negative trip spent in a ditch adds a comical contrast to Andrew's blissful morning, showcasing the unpredictable spectrum of psychedelics.Back in Sydney, Andrew's newfound appreciation for mushrooms takes an entrepreneurial turn. Inspired by the experience, he and a friend delve into the world of mushroom cultivation, turning a hobby into a side hustle that would be as colorful and unexpected as the trips themselves.Join Knuckles and Andrew as they unravel the yarn of life’s ups and downs, the highs and lows of hallucinogenic adventures, and the comedic twist of fate that turned a simple experience into a business opportunity. This episode is a rollercoaster of laughter, introspection, and pure Aussie storytelling at its best. For tickets to Andrew's comedy tour head to https://alist.com.au/tours/andrew-hamilton-jokes-about-the-time-i-went-prison/For a copy of Andrew's book grab your copy from https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/aw/d/1923022148/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?ie=UTF8&dib_tag=se&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.8PrJrUYCmPCjKZ4kZIiJN2OfxaXUc8U_MXc_mteylwsGf6U9d3nBwJuHSya3d0EGtTsIzg1MFHrqKGVMZUzO8qDqsZDDqpYQBwT-N4smTKOqxDzGJ9LeTcbYTbnRCJbD_2Jx_EtB2lEnwpJ4G2bAew.Ly#propertrueyarn Hosted on Acast.
