This week I sat down with Kara Halderman, Nutrition Therapy Practitioner, & mindset trainer.  Kara shares her journey around how she has learned to stop acting out of fear in order to pivot in her business and follow what makes her excited!  She opens up about how she was able to heal some health  her mind & body through a technique called Neuro-Linguistic Programming.  A technique focused on reprogramming the sub-conscious mind!  It is super fascinating and she has been able to get her clients even better results by combining this with her nutrition expertise.  Kara is now passionate about supporting other NTP's & heath coaches in using this technique both with themselves to thrive in their businesses and teaching them how to use it with their clients.  We get into our thoughts of some of the hottest "diets" like Keto and her experience with eating carnivore, as well as why she believes in taking radical responsibility for our thoughts & actions rather than playing the victim!  And the pro's and cons of social media.  Kara has a raw honesty that I truly love and appreciate and know you will benefit from listening to this episode.

I sit down this week with my good friend Shannon Keating, Womens' Lifestyle Coach & Nutrition Therapy Practitioner. This week I sit down with Melanie Morton, an online womens' weight loss coach and creator of the Lean For Life Method.  Melanie spent YEARS doing two a day workouts and living off of oatmeal and egg white until finally she realized she was exhausted, bloated, felt like shit and what she was doing was no longer working.  Melanie debunks some of the fitness myths being fed to us through social media and explains that most women are OVER exercising and UNDER eating & why they need to actually be eating MORE and working out LESS.  She covers the importance of handling stress and doing the inner/emotional work & how this has a huge impact on your physical body.  She also opens up about her struggles with Postpartum Depression and her ability to heal from this naturally without medication.  We even get into how she has manages to create a 6 figure coaching business in only a year.  This one is loaded with amazing knowledge bombs and you don't want to miss it.

This week I sit down with Food Freedom & Certified Eating Psychology Coach.  Jessi struggled for years with behaviors of bingeing & restricting food to the point that she had thoughts of not even wanting to live anymore.  She was completely isolated, and hid her problems from everyone she knew until she finally recognized she could not continue to live a life that was consumed by her body and food.  Through her own research, getting support, and becoming a certified eating psychology coach Jessi was able to overcome her disorder and find true freedom around food & her body and is now on a mission to support other women in doing the same through her online coaching program, the Food Freedom Master Class.  Jessi talks about why programs like over eaters anonymous & various forms of therapy actually did not work for her long-term and gets into the science and importance of behavior change to conquer binge eating for good.  She is so knowledgeable & passionate about what she does, I hope this episode leaves you feeling more empowered around food & your body!

This week I sit down with Chelsea Gross, a Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach & Balanced Bites Master Class Certified Practitioner.  After years of struggling with food & her body Chelsea now coaches women to find a balance and freedom in their lives.  Chelsea gets into the details of her story, about years of trying to make herself smaller and thinner through diets, laxatives, and over exercising and how that led her to behaviors of bingeing and purging.  Due to this she struggled with anxiety, and depression and finally got to a place where she realized she could no longer live this way.  Chelsea reached out for help, and through support and the transformational coaching program she went through was finally able to make peace with her body, and find freedom around food.  Chelsea pulls the ideas of intuitive eating, as well as the importance of nutrition into her practice and work she does with her clients.  Chelsea's mottos is, "Things happen for us not to us."  She has turned her struggles and experiences into a way to give back and help others and I am so thankful to have met her and been able to share her story.

This week on the podcast I sat down with Taylor Leary, a Denver based financial advisor, and also my financial advisor!!  Taylor takes a very different approach when it comes to money and works with his clients around their mindset, purpose, meaning and limiting beliefs surrounding money.  He gives some amazing tips around creating positive money habits, the biggest mistakes people are making, how to get out of debt, and investing in the future.  We also dive into the harmful impacts of having a scarcity mindset around money, how to get rid of shame and guilt around money, and even the importance of hiring a coach to find more harmony in your life!  Packed with not only money tips but amazing life tips as well.
