Astrology is all about understanding change.

Change in the transits, in your dashas, and, of course, in all areas of your life.

In many episodes, I talk about the importance of the inner work of self awareness, reflection and meditation to best navigate these changes.

In this episode I guide you through a simple meditation to get present to what is happening now and needed in your present moment experience.

Every time you do this meditation will be different, because life is constant and continual change.

This meditation is a way to come back to stillness and re-center amidst all the changes.

This is almost the exact same practice I've come back to for over 10 years whenever I need to re center and get back to clarity.

A fun way to use my weekly podcasts is to go back to previous episodes and reflect on how the transits have played out for you

I don't claim to be a psychic or have all the answers, but I have been doing this work for 18+ years and love the research and organization side of astrology.

If you notice that more unfavorable expressions of a transit are playing out for you, it's a great warning sign to redirect your energy to take action towards the more favorable expressions of that transit.

I share some examples in the new podcast. Like this: Rahu is in Pisces all of 2024 and many planets will be in Pisces soon. The negative side of all this Pisces energy could be that you become too dreamy, unrealistic and irresponsible. You could say "I want to write a song" and then do nothing to make it happen. That's a vision, but it's an incomplete vision.

A favorable expression of all this Pisces energy is to have a more complete vision. The way an architect has a complete vision before a building begins construction. So you might say "I want to write a song that's inspired by x, y and z songs, about x topic, in x style" etc, and now you have a much clearer vision, and the path to make it a reality.

In this way, anytime you notice more unfavorable sides of transits playing out, or unfavorable aspects of your chart, or the dasha you're in, this is how you can completely change your trajectory and create more positive outcomes. Simply getting clear on the more favorable expression, then taking steps and actions in that direction. This is especially important this week, because...

The week ahead is a powerful time to set intentions and create a new, clear vision for your life.

This past month has been quite full for me with moving to a new home and starting a new class of the Vedic Astrology Mentorship for both Year 1 and Year 2 students.

To celebrate last week's New Moon in Dhanishta, here are some patterns the Year 2 students observed with people who have Dhanishta in their chart:

Dhanishta is present in some of the most famous celebrities, particularly those who are known for their looks; Marilyn Monroe, Betty Page, Jayne Mansfield, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and others.

Mars in Dhanishta is present in some of the most creative people; its a great placement for rappers such as Jay Z, Missy Elliot, Snoop Dogg and 2Pac who have this. It's also present in other highly creative artists like Leonardo Da Vinci, Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake and Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead.

Note: If you don't have a nakshatra in your chart, you still experience it's qualities during transits.

Dhanishta represents wealth and success. The symbol is a drum which is both solid and hollow inside. As we all have gone through the Feb 9th New Moon in Dhanishta, there are some energies that are heightened over the month following Feb 9th.

This is a good month for listening to music, creating music and dancing. It's a great time for setting aspirational and ambitious goals, but remembering that achieving the goal could lead to sense of hollowness once attained, so it's not as much about the goal, but who you become along the way, and who you get to be in pursuit of that goal, in the dance of life.
