Stuck in "Californication" for the 2nd straight week, Randumb Album Rankings tackles the discography of one of the most prolific rock bands of all time and one of the biggest bands of the 90s.  Since their inception in 1983, The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been breaking rules, causing controversy, and putting out a funky brand of alternative rock the only way Anthony, Flea, and crew know how.  Tune in and find out how the bands's albums rank according to B.C.  Hope you got those c*ck-socks on tight (but not too tight!  Gotta let those suckers breathe!) because it's time to get up from "Under the Bridge", hop on your "Aeroplane", and take care of that "Scar Tissue".  Because it's time for me to "Give It Away" from worst to best.  

With 75 million albums sold worldwide, Green Day is one of the best-selling artists of all time.  In 34 years, the band went from being California teens in a punk rock band to Hall of Fame inductees in 2015.  As of this year, Green Day continues to sell out arenas and stadiums with the Hella Mega Tour with Weezer and Fall Out Boy (the latter inducted Green Day into the Hall, btw).  When talking about Billy Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool, their fan base is practically split when discussing what their best album is.  It's always a different answer every time.  But this week, BC will be counting down their discography (including last year's "Father of All Motherf**kers") from worst to best.  Where does your favorite rank?  Tune in to find out!

Hope you all had a nice relaxing Labor Day Weekend.  Summer is officially over!  And what better way to say goodbye to Summer than a band reminding us of Summer?  I realize based on you reading the title that you're questioning my thoughts on this.  While they appeared on an episode I dropped EXACTLY one year ago today about bands I once loved but can't defend anymore, I did also say a good chunk of these bands would be featured on future podcasts! :)  So this week, I will rank the discography of the Omaha, NE rock band 311.  In the nearly 30 years of their career, the crew led by Nick Hexum has always been hard to classify.  Are they Funk? Ska? Punk? Rap? Reggae?  No matter what you make of them, they have always had some fun tunes (especially during the summer months)!  Tune in as I not only rank 311's work from worst to best (including personal stories I have regarding the band), but I will also touch base on what's been going on in my life the last 2 weeks as to why I've been off.  I assure you my reasons were understandable.... Just like this week's episode!  :P

In 2001, at the peak of their success of "Relationship of Command", At The Drive-In announced their disbandment.  What resulted were the formations of 2 bands way ahead of their times: Sparta (led by guitarist Jim Ward) and this week's featured act The Mars Volta. Consisting of the driving force that made AtDI great (Vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala and guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez) and a mixture of crazy math-rock guitar riffs, insane drum beats and passionate vocals, The Mars Volta would release only six albums in the 11 years the band had been together.  Although there have been rumors of a possible reunion for a couple years, the respective members have remained busy with other projects since their disbandment in 2012 (including a "Drive-In" reunion featuring one more album).  So until Cedric and Omar can get the Volta up and running again, I will have the absolutely daunting task of ranking their albums from worst (???) to best!  

Formed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1997, Nonpoint is not only one of the best in the Nu-Metal genre, but also one of the most underrated metal bands of all time.  With a career spanning over 20 years, 10 albums, and a fiercely devoted fanbase, the band lead by Elias Soriano have proven their worth with powerful vocals, awesome beats, and super high energy shows.  This was one that I got a lot of requests for since I started this podcast last year.  And being as I myself am a big fan of them as well, now's the time to put Nonpoint in the spotlight!  But which album is their best?  Their worst?  Tune in and find out!
