The Boston Red Sox continued their struggles against AL East team when they lost the second game of the series against the Tampa Bay Rays after Rich Hill allowed a hit parade to the Rays lineup. Christian Arroyo continued to swing a hot bat and Triston Casas flashed some power with the first home run of his MLB career. Kiké Hernández was also signed to an extension Monday night to stay through 2023.
