  • Episode 7 | How I Allowed My Trauma to Become Springboard for Healing and Purpose

**TRIGGER WARNING: I discuss topics surrounding workplace trauma, pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum depression. I am not a licensed clinical therapist and cannot diagnose or treat, and I can only share my experience with healing trauma.

I get vulnerable and share my journey to healing trauma during this week's solo episode. I defined trauma and discussed how I knew I needed to seek additional treatment beyond typical talk therapy. I express my experience with Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a type of trauma therapy, and how it allowed me to see my traumatic experiences in a completely different light. I give examples of other treatment options and how to find a qualified therapist. I also provided a few ideas, such as finding a good personality match therapist who can help diagnose if necessary.

  • Episode 6 | Seeking Out Things That Give Us Energy with Dax Bambrough

On this week's episode, I had the amazing opportunity to have an intimate networking session with my good friend, Dax Bambrough.

Dax shares his story about how he started his traditional advertising career. He reminisces about his journey to find a career path that felt energizing and true to who he is. Through challenging leadership, mass layoffs, and adapting to changing responsibilities, Dax has created a consulting career that allows him to do what he loves best: problem-solving and building up the people and teams he's blessed to work with.

He shares his take on regret through speculation and that dwelling on past decisions can distract us from our growth and happiness overall. Dax suggests that we seek out the things that give us energy. When we focus on the actions that give us positive energy, we will eventually spend most of our days doing what we love.

You can connect with or work with Dax Bambrough on LinkedIn. Tell him I sent you!

I've learned so much from Dax and am grateful our paths crossed. Thank you for supporting him and my podcast in such a small way! I am thankful you are here.

  • Episode 5 | Stop Setting Goals and Manifest the Life You Want in 2025

In this week's episode, I share my thoughts on traditional goal setting and why the framework may be failing you year after year.

I beg you to be hyper-self-compassionate this year, as life can bring difficulty and hardship. We should check in with our intuition and the universe to know "IF" we have the capacity for an expansion in 2025.

I deep dive into comparing and contrasting the S.M.A.R.T. goal-setting framework and the Law of Attraction and Manifestation, and why leveraging the LOA&M can help you attract the life you want now. I also talk about how we can know if we are in alignment with our true selves and the universe, and why it's important to flex this muscle to become the person we've always wanted to be.

I wish you all peace and direction for 2025! Thank you with all my heart for listening; it means the world.

  • Episode 4 | Lash Artist turns Marketing Manager with Ginger Ferreira, MSMK

In this week's podcast episode, I had the honor of interviewing my good friend and network connection, Ginger. Ginger and I met this year at a networking event in our central city. I quickly became intrigued with Ginger after hearing she recently graduated with her master's in marketing! Ginger and I have quickly become close friends outside of work, and she has such a beautiful soul and spirit.

After her family discouraged her from getting a traditional college education, Ginger gave up her thriving business as a lash artist to pursue higher education. Ginger shares her journey to becoming a first-generation college student and why she chose a non-victim mentality. She does allow her previous experiences to hold her back from what feels authentic to her life now. Ginger also talks about adopting self-compassion with health and wellness as circumstances change. She's all for personal development, but not to the detriment of her mental health.

I hope you enjoy this conversation with Ginger as much as I did! Feel free to connect with her on LinkedIn; she would love to chat more with you.

  • Episode 3 | Give Yourself Permission to Make a Life or Career Change

This week on the podcast, I opened up about graduating from college and starting my career in marketing. I admit that my insidious conditioning eventually led to academic and corporate burnout. I hope our community embraces "a pivot" when life or our careers are taking a toll on our mental well-being. No person, living situation, or career is worth sacrificing our mental health. Allow yourself to implement gentle self-compassion as needed. We are doing the best we can with our present life experience.

I am so thankful you are here!
