London Real's Brian Rose was invited by American ethnopharmacologist Dennis McKenna to travel half way around the world to the South American country of Costa Rica. The reason for the visit was so that Brian could experience the psychedelic drug ayahuasca. The brew is used as a traditional spiritual medicine in ceremonies among the indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin. In this episode, Dennis McKenna (who's late brother Terence McKenna was also an advocate for the responsible use of naturally occurring psychedelic plants) and Brian Rose answer questions from a live audience about their experiences.
