Brandon Walter was selected to the Boston Red Sox 40-man roster and celebrated by joining Locked On Red Sox!

Brandon joins NESN's Lauren Willand and Massachusetts Pirates team insider Jake Iganszewski to discuss all things from his injury to his favorite offseason activities. Brandon also talks about how he felt upon learning he made the 40-man roster, thus protecting him from the Rule 5 Draft that will take place Dec. 7 in San Diego.

Lauren and Jake get to know Brandon a bit more off the field while also asking him about his on-field preparations and just how much confidence he has in his slider (spoiler alert: it's a lot!).

We also learn of his goal for 2023 and how he plans to stay healthy!
