Kole Cottam is one of the top catching prospects in the Red Sox farm system and opened many eyes this past season with his impressive performance in Portland which led to his call-up to Worcester mid-season. Kole joined Massachusetts Pirates Team Insider Jake Ignaszewski to reflect on this past season and some of the biggest lessons he learned. Kole talked about his experience at the beginning of the season with Portland and his experiences playing with players like Ceddanne Rafaela and Christian Koss.

Kole then goes into how he found out about the call-up to the WooSox and how he adapted to the new level. Kole then went into his first impression of Polar Park and explained the strong chemistry in Worcester and Portland. Lastly, Kole shared what he's planning to work on during this offseason to prepare for 2023 and his plan non-baseball related for the remainder of the offseason.
