The Boston Red Sox dropped their Opening Day game to the New York Yankees on Friday in 11 innings, but they also lost Xander Bogaerts to a hamstring injury.

NESN's Lauren Campbell recaps the 6-5 loss and provides the latest updates on Xander Bogaerts, who spoke about his injury and how it happened after the loss. Lauren also reveals why Matt Barnes wasn't used in the loss, but does give the bullpen credit in limiting walks to the Yankees. She also goes over the debut of Trevor Story and how the Red Sox offense went just 2-for-12 with runners in scoring position -- YIKES!!
