The Boston Red Sox could not win the series against the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday (but still have a chance Wednesday!) after falling 8-4 in a rainy night at Fenway Park.

Xander Bogaerts returned to the lineup and belted a home run, Trevor Story also had a home run but Nick Pivetta did not have his best stuff. NESN's Lauren Campbell recaps the Tuesday loss, looks at Pivetta's final line and how bad the Red Sox offense has been with runners on third with fewer than two outs in an inning since June 24.
