The 2022 Boston Red Sox have not been showing any signs of good offense of late, and that was more than apparent after getting swept by the Toronto Blue Jays.

NESN's Lauren Willand has a little bit of a therapy session on this offense and just how ugly it's been -- including having the bases loaded with NOBODY OUT and being unable to score to win against the Blue Jays on Thursday. To make matters worse, Lauren provides offensive stats for Trevor Story (and a positive injury update on the second baseman!) that truly puts the offense into perspective.

Lauren provides updates on Nate Eovaldi, Tanner Houck and James Paxton, who was shut down for the season after suffering a Grade 2 tear in his lat. Lauren gives you the details of his contract and what the Red Sox would be wise to do.

Lauren also looks at Triston Casas and Connor Wong about being candidates for September call-ups and why it's okay we have yet to see Casas with the Red Sox.
