Red Sox ace Chris Sale is very close to coming back to the team after sustaining a stress fracture injury during Spring Training. Sale made his fourth rehab appearance of this stint on Wednesday but this time in Worcester and ended up pitching 3.2 innings and only allowing one run on three hits and striking out 5 batters. The main statistic that Sale was most frustrated about was that he walked 5 batters and he explained more of what he needs to work on before rejoining the Red Sox in his post-game press conference.
Massachusetts Pirates Team Insider Jake Ignaszewski had the opportunity to take part in the post-game press conference after Chris Sale's rehab start on Wednesday and asked Chris how this recent injury has changed his preparation at all and what his favorite foods at Fenway are. Other reporters from the Boston media asked Sale about his thoughts on his performances, his excitement about the young Red Sox pitchers and more.
