Garrett Whitlock and Tanner Houck both had a lot of expectations on them going into the 2022 season. Both pitchers met some of those expectations but ended the season with getting surgery and both won't be back until 2023 Spring Training. Going into next season, it still hasn't been set in stone how both players will be used as well.
