The Red Sox opened up their 7-Game Homestand with a 10-2 victory over the Chicago White Sox Friday night at Fenway Park.  The Red Sox hit 4 Home Runs in the win.  Hunter Dobbins gave up 2 runs (1 ER) over 6 Innings and picked up his 2nd win in his 2nd Big League start.  Dobbins walked no one and struck out 6.  The Red Sox have won 3 in a row and 4 of 5.

On The Board 1st: The Red Sox led 3-0 over the White Sox 4 hitters in on a 3-run Home Run off the bat of Trevor Story. Story's Home Run went 427 feet to centerfield and would have been out of 23 of 30 Big League Parks according to Baseball Savant.  Story added his 2nd 3-run Home Run of the game in the 7th to make it 9-2. It's Story's 18th career 2 Home Run game.

1st of the Season: Ceddanne Rafaela made it 6-1 with a 2-run Home Run in the 4th Inning. It's Rafaela's 1st Home Run of the season. Rafaela hit 15 Home Runs in 152 games last season. Rafaela has hit 14 of his 18 Big League Home Runs off right-handers. It was also his 9th Home Run at Fenway Park.

1st in the Bigs- Red Sox catcher Carlos Narvaez hit his 1st Big League Home Run with a solo shot in the home 8th inning and that made it 10-2 in favor of the Red Sox.  Narvaez also had a Double in the victory.

#'s of the Night: With Friday's win, the Red Sox improve to 8-1 when scoring the 1st run of the game.  The Red Sox have homered in 5 straight games (10- Total) after going 6 straight games without going Yard.  The Red Sox improved to 36-14 in their now Yellow alternate jerseys (former City Connect). The Red Sox have now won the series opener in 3 of their 1st 7 series of the season.

Roster Moves: Alex Bregman was added back to the roster Friday after taking Paternity Leave. Nick Sogard was sent down to Triple-A Worcester. Michael Fulmer, who made 1 appearance in relief for the Sox, was designated for assignment on Friday.

What's On Tap?: The Red Sox will have Garrett Crochet on the mound for his 5th start of the season and his 2nd straight against his former club Saturday afternoon.  The Red Sox conclude their series with the Whites on Patriots Day Monday. The Red Sox will also host the Mariners for a 3-game series on the backend of the Homestand and that series starts Tuesday night.
