Taylor Broadway was the player to be named later in the Jake Diekman trade last season that brought Broadway to the Boston Red Sox organization.

NESN's Lauren Willand sits down with Broadway to talk about his journey to baseball -- from not getting an offer after high school, to getting a chance before his freshman year of his college that led to him getting drafted by the Chicago White Sox. The two also discuss the day he learned he was traded to the Red Sox, what he's working on this offseason and his goals for the 2023 season with the Portland Sea Dogs. Broadway shined for Portland last season, being nearly unhittable against opponents.
