Having tough conversations with people isn't easy.  Especially if the person you're trying to have the conversation with is notorious for being stubborn or impatient.

Folks, we don't buy that bullshit and neither should you.  Those questions are nothing more than sales tactics.  EVERYONE goes through those emotions and some "guru" type person isn't going to be able to fix you. Especially someone who has nothing to base their "expertise" on besides trendy youtube videos and second hand knowledge.  Sales pitches and programs like that are designed to make you feel LESS THAN and we're not cool with that.

We created this show because we absolutely LOVE helping people.  We believe people can change when they're empowered to make a change.  We've spent the majority of our professional careers helping people and decided we needed to bring our advice, counseling, and perspectives to a bigger platform.  Thus, Betterment Bros was born.

This week's email featured a theme we hear ALL THE TIME.  I don't measure up to societal standards, I must not be succeeding because I don't have the fancy car, the white picket fence/wife/kids etc.
