Far from how tos and in line with all other teachings, Jayne provides you with some solid ways to welcome Shamanism into your Reiki practise.  That you can take, adjust, adapt, apply in a way that feels right for you in your life & work.  It is via a Shamanic connection to Reiki energy, that you are able to find your very own style of working with the energy - non restrictedly & confidently. She touches on the difference between Usui Reiki &  Fire Hearted Life Shamanic Reiki in terms of integration of tools & practises that help an individual to support their own self growth.  And the need for this in order to carve a strong relationship with Reiki energy.  So that a person can live a meaningful life for themself as a priority before & at the same time as working with others. This is one of the foundational keys in developing an intuitive connection with Reiki energy.

Jayne highlights 3 areas that are actionable in the now, to heighten your clients experience with you. She pays nod to the often missing teaching of client care with Reiki training (think emotional level support moreover drinking water & contraindications) Which in turn can leave students feeling challenge in many areas such as being able to give useful & meaningful feedback in a session or being able to hone in on how you can best serve your client in & after your time together.

The biggest majority of people, the biggest majority of the time, live in fight or flight. How we have come to live societally is a breeding ground for this reaction to remain switched on. Healing can't happen in a state of fight or flight. But let's not feel defeated before we have begun. So here Jayne covers: What this reaction is, how & why it impacts daily living (including the overwhelm of the mental load); how to support yourself to be regulated, avoiding a constant state of fight or flight. In simple language. And simple steps. To support your daily life & your work as a practitioner.

On an intuitive path of alignment, challenge that’s a natural part of Reiki practise is different from challenge that you actively avoid that keeps you stuck. Trying to ''get it right, or pushing to make change, or attempting to emulate how anyone else works, will lead you further away from (as opposed to closer to) your aim of heart-led fulfilment for yourself & genuine impact for your clients. Let’s identify your meaningful action & how to actually align with that.  Because I fully believe doing what you love, in a way you love, should feel amazing.
