For too many children, the people they should be able to trust the most turn out to be the people who hurt them the most.
This is relational trauma. Experiencing trauma is not just about what happens to you, but so much of the impact comes from who the perpetrator is to you and how that betrayal of trust can affect you for years to come.
In this episode, I'll share insights on how interpersonal trauma, especially when it comes from someone we trust, creates deep layers of hurt and healing. We'll talk about the importance of recognizing these layers, validating our experiences, and understanding the journey toward healing.
Whether you've experienced trauma yourself or you're here to support someone who has, my hope is to help you see that you're not alone and that healing is possible.
