Today I have a special guest, Nanci Lamborn, who shares about her experience of childhood sexual abuse and the anger she felt towards her mother, who did not support her and even blamed her for what happened.
Nancy will share the steps she took towards healing from her childhood trauma and her mother wound. Nancy also described what it took to move from being an Angry Daughter to an inspiring coach and author.
I hope this episode blesses you.
"Angry Daughter: A Journey from Hatred to Love" is Nanci’s story of walking out of a lifetime of hating ner mom, into forgiveness and peace just before her mom’s tragic passing 2 years ago. Nanci’s story includes traumatic abuse as well as hilarious 1970s childhood incidents, woven together with prayers of forgiveness, repentance, and healing. The end of the book also includes a self-help prayer section for others who are ready to join the same journey of releasing an abusive parent to the Lord Jesus Christ.
