In this episode, Hazel and Angus explore how bravery has traditionally been viewed in climbing, unpack common misconceptions, and examine the many layers that sit beneath our usual assumptions.

They discuss ego, status, vulnerability, and how having a strong mind is not the same as simply “being brave.” This conversation invites climbers to rethink what courage really looks like—on and off the wall.
