In this episode I wanted to address the claims made by one particular gentleman with PD, John Pepper, who recently posted a video discussing the role fast walking has played in what he claims is reversing his PD as well as how the protein GDNF can be increased through fast walking. The video where he talks about this can be found here, but know that it is a bit lengthy.
Please know that research is ongoing and there is no certain evidence that fast walking will reverse PD, though it is a fact that it does have a neuroprotective effect.
