We are so excited to launch a new series, where each week we will process one new rhythm together! Although these current, unprecedented times can ignite fear, Gabe and I are eager to walk alongside you as we navigate the unknown together. There is no better time than now to begin taking inventory. As we pause and begin to examine the different areas of our lives, our eyes may be opened to what is right, what is wrong, what is confused, and what is missing. If we do our inventories right, it will be a holy process. When we rest long enough to take inventory, we'll find new horizons opening up, horizons beyond all we could ask or imagine.
Each of these weekly rhythms can be found in Rebekah's newest book, Rhythms of Renewal. Click HERE to get your copy! To download the audiobook and listen, click HERE!

During this time period that is keeping many of us at home under unknown circumstances, this is the perfect opportunity to get organized and bring a little bit of order from chaos.
Cladwell is an app that helps consumers jumpstart this process! Without having to purchase new items, the app helps you sort through the items you already own and create a wardrobe that is versatile and unique to your style.

On this week's new episode of Rhythms for Life, Gabe and I had the privilege of having Bill and Laurie Lokey on the podcast! Bill and Laurie are our actual counselors, so it was special for us to put a microphone on our time with them so that you could listen in on the conversation.
The Lokeys understand pain, failure, and trauma because they have lived it themselves. After 23 years of working in trauma therapy and counseling, they know the power of sharing their own stories in vulnerable and real ways. Bill and Laurie remind us that our shame, regrets, and mistakes are not the end of our story. Gabe and I hope you feel encouraged by this episode!

Have you ever found yourself in a situation that you could have never seen coming? This week's episode features two of our great friends, Katherine and Jay Wolf.
The Wolf's share with us an inspiring story that completely changed the trajectory of their lives. Katherine and Jay remind us we all have wheelchairs - things that could hinder us and hold us back- that, if we allowed, could keep us from experiencing true joy and fulfilled lives. However, it is in these times of growth where we can actually come alive and begin to experience freedom like never before. These freedoms often times allow us to step into and begin seeing the full potential of the uniquely designed and wonderfully made children that God has created us to be.

With the spread of the Coronavirus and high transmission of the flu, you might be wondering, how is it possible to stay healthy and protect yourself and your family from these viruses.
It turns out it might not be so hard. With just a few simple lifestyle swaps, we can build our immune system up so that even if we DO come in contact with dangerous viruses, we’ll be able to quickly fight them off. Instead of reacting in fear, we can respond with action.
Dr. Josh Axe joins us back on the podcast for a special episode to give you the practical ways to build your immunity. Listen in for the foods you should be eating, the supplements you should be taking, and the habits you should be making to keep your immune system in tip-top shape. His number one tip? Trade fear and negativity for joy, gratitude and faith!

In this week's episode, we had the wonderful opportunity of speaking with Sissy Goff. With over 27 years of professional experience walking alongside children and adolescents, she provides us with encouraging steps on how to raise young men and women in today's society that is constantly being overstimulated. Our children need to see and hear us living with the confidence that we are equipped to overcome the anxiety that lingers in our world today. Sissy walks us through how to empower our children and teenagers to be the brave and independent individuals that they were created to be.
Sissy Goff, M.Ed., LPC-MHSP is the Director of Child and Adolescent Counseling at Daystar Counseling Ministries in Nashville, Tennessee, where she works alongside her counseling assistant/pet therapist, Lucy the Havanese. What does it look like to be faithful and follow Jesus in our changing culture? Addison Bevere joined us on the podcast this week for a refreshing and enlightening conversation about the word Christian, and how it came to be the most popular identifier for followers of Jesus today, despite being mentioned in the Bible a mere three times.
Addison's new book, Saints, expands on this conversation, inviting followers of Jesus into a different identifier - one that invites us to discover who God created us to be and awaken us to the life we were meant to know.

Have you ever found yourself in a web of negative thoughts? If so, this episode is for you. My good friend Jennie Allen joined me on the podcast this week for a powerful conversation on how to end the spiral of toxic thoughts FOR GOOD. According to Jennie, we can have anywhere from 9,000-60,000 thoughts in a single day. Of those thoughts, over 75% of them are negative, and of those thoughts, over 75% are repetitive. It is time to change the narrative, friends. Listen in to hear how Jennie stopped believing lies and started believing God.
Jennie Allen is an award-winning and bestselling author of Anything and Restless, as well as the Bible studies Stuck, Chase, and Restless. The founder and visionary for the IF: Gathering, she is a passionate leader following God's call on her life to catalyze a generation of women to live what they believe.
