Erica is a Director in Uber’s legal department. She manages the real estate legal function at Uber. Erica joined Uber in 2015 as Uber’s first real estate lawyer, overseeing all real estate matters for the company globally. Erica co-chairs Women of CLO, an employee resource group for the legal, compliance, and security teams at Uber. Women of CLO promotes the advancement of women who are on teams led by Uber’s Chief Legal Officer. Prior to joining Uber, Erica was General Counsel and COO with Mission Bay Development Group, LLC, the master developer of the Mission Bay project in San Francisco. Erica began her career as a transactional real estate attorney with DLA Piper in Silicon Valley. Erica is an attorney and licensed real estate broker and recently became trained as a professional coach. She earned her law degree from Santa Clara University and her undergraduate degree from Cornell University. In her spare time, Erica enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her 6 year old daughter Whitney and very supportive husband Steve.
