Ross grew up hard and grew up fast, leaving home at 16 to chase down his dream of being a cowboy on the big Nevada ranches. Ross has spent his entire life learning the necessary skills to make a hand, through the ups and downs Ross has held true to his convictions and has become a master packer, spending 20 years packing supplies to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. He has spent time all over the west making a living with livestock and somewhere along the way, spending much alone time in the saddle, picked up the art of writing cowboy poetry. Ross is recognized by his peers as one of the top cowboy poets of his time. He draws from his own experiences of real life wrecks, trials, and beauty to write his poems. There are not to many guys like my friend Ross Knox left on this planet and it was such a honor to record this with him. Enjoy...
