Francis Ford Coppola adapted two of S.E. Hinton's beloved Tulsa set YA novels for the big screen in 1983. Rumble Fish is the weirder/cooler of the two, a bit of a forgotten Coppola masterpiece and a very sincere attempt at creating arthouse cinema FOR teens. Perfect movie to discuss on our SCREENAGERS miniseries.
