Running With Horses

Have you noticed the Lord is doing some things quickly? Bringing forward matters that have been in the distance, on the back burner? Obviously, He is settling many long-time, up-in-the air matters, things like business deals and family issues. And at the center is a connection between you and the miracle you need. It's the Bible term repentance and it means to turn. Today's episode of "Running With Horses" looks at this important connection between your decision to turn to the Lord in repentance and the miracle outcome you need.

There is such a thing as a divine connection; when two people or two groups come together in a divinely orchestrated situation. These connections occur not only according to the Lord's planning and execution, but are happening more than you realize. If you are praying for your situation, remember that the Lord brings people together and creates specific circumstances for an eternal impact. Be aware of who is in your life and who is about to come into your life. Nothing is a coincidence.

Unforgiveness in the human heart begins small but enlarges to take over more territory, creating a heaviness that's also dark. Creativity and natural energy levels seem to be less and less, impacted by the dark covering over the heart that holds onto unforgiveness. But God's light can shine into that darkness, restoring light and everything connected. Shirley explains that darkness does not comprehend the One who is light, but you can. Forgiveness is the place to start.

Prophetic and visionary leadership doesn't occur in the back of the room or on the periphery of the crowd; rather, it takes place out in front where every individual benefits from the leader who envisions today before today and allows a tomorrow filled with the collective spiritual and moral genius of God's people. To build prophetically this way, we need gutsy, God-sent, God-inspired leaders who are humbled by the opportunity.

In today's podcast Shirley explains how your faith isn't just a belief or hope but a revelation of the written Word, activated in your heart, to build upon your anchor of hope and reward what you believe. That's because faith doesn't fluctuate with the crowd, whim, or threat. Faith is the real thing, operating above all that noise!

Your strategy should be: What did the Lord say? Stay with that. Keep moving.

Everything you hold before the Lord including people, situations and outcomes are influenced by what you believe and how you steward where God has placed you. Consider being more intentional about the big picture and less myopic and inward. Believe God first, sow the seeds you know you should, then believe Him even more for the outcome and dream that's in your heart. God is ready to restore—now build! (Amos 9:13-14).

Remember, the Lord watches over you to provide for you, often supernaturally, in answer to your prayers and the prayers of others devoted to your breakthrough. Your part is to keep your focus in God's Word so you can receive godly and wise counsel. Otherwise your miracle could evaporate while you're scurrying about chasing man-made substitutes and you'd miss receiving the very thing you've longed for. Shirley explains how many people miss God's supernatural visitation because they're in the wrong lane, focused on an inferior perspective and how we can instead, listen for wisdom and apply wisdom to RECEIVE from God and hear HIM.

Continuing with things pertaining to the last days—a biblical term for the time in which you and I presently live—God speaks through our circumstances. He confirms the path forward when options evaporate. He warns by allowing outcomes to deteriorate, even to the point of being intolerable. But then, Divine favor intervenes and goes on display when we listen, then follow-through. "… and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us." – Hebrews 12:1

In this episode, Shirley points to Jesus's life and ministry as our great example of "lifestyle" faith that believes God's supernatural moving in the lives of ordinary people is both in His heart to do and should also be in our hearts for all men everywhere as we discern the times and understand we are in fact living in the last days of this age.

We cannot overlook remaining engaged with God's people, even if we feel excluded for some or any reason! The Bible strongly points to the assembly of believers, important as a built-in protection on many levels, especially against deceptive and lying people and spirits as in 1 Timothy 4. Subsequent to becoming isolated is the loss of accountability to those who love and care for you, followed by the most vulnerable position of all, that of being unaccountable spiritually, not accountable to anyone, putting you in a position where you are literally alone and on your own. Don't let that happen. Combat feelings of weakness and inadequacy that pull against God's intention for you. We'll discuss more about how in this episode.
