For the first time since 2018 the Sandown 500 has returned to it's slot as the opening enduro and warm up to the Bathurst 1000. With big crowds and beautiful weather over the three days, Broc Feeney and Jamie Whincup held off series leader Brodie Kostecki and his co-driver David Russell to cross the line first and notch up the 250th race win for Triple Eight.
