Denise Wester went from living in comfort and security, to no job, welfare and at one stage no electricity and on the brink of homelessness with her 4 x young kids. Denise grew up in a strict religious home, and her upbringing had negative effects on her self esteem and subsequent relationships. Our lives can be scattered with wrong turns and sometimes we don't know we have taken them until it's seemingly too late. Denise shows us however, that it is never too late to find your passion, freedom, and confidence as she talks us through how journaling saved her life. Each guest discusses their story of how their lives were turned upside down, by unexpected events. Stories like surviving a car crash, surviving abuse, being paralyzed in an accident, witnessing a crime.. and many more! Luke and Kyle will take an honest, raw, yet positive and hopeful approach, to really find out how these sudden events have effected our guests, and hear about the tools they use to overcome the subsequent struggle and adversity.
