Get excited, we are all invited to a dinner party this week! Except Uncle John but he'll show up no matter what evidently. It's an uneventful dinner party with no ulterior motives... not. We learn the truth behind the mysterious dagger, get a new term for our TVD glossary ("ripper"), see an old friend who we have missed dearly, and Dr. Martin takes drastic measures. Meanwhile, Elena keeps reading those journals, but is not quite a fast enough reader and pays dearly for that. Plus, Katherine gives us some trickery, and just because it is easy for her doesn't mean it isn't fun!
