The Road to Reading Podcast

S3:E1 High School Students (Christine & Keegan) Share their Journeys with Dyslexia

Listen Later

In this episode, Christine and Keegan, two high school students from New Trier, share their journeys with dyslexia. They share their struggles and their successes and how they've learned to advocate for themselves. Christine and Keegan have created an organization called, Discover Dyslexia, where they intend to show other kids like themselves that through hard work and perseverance any child with dyslexia can succeed.  Christine and Keegan and all of the children they represent are the reason we all need to keep learning to become better teachers of literacy.
